THE LIE Demonic Oppression
"I'm oppressed by demons because of things I've done or watched online."

How it sounds in your head: Ever since I stumbled onto that horror movie or weird website, I feel something dark following me. I can't sleep, I hear whispers, and I'm terrified I've opened a door I can't close. What if I'm cursed now?

IT IS WRITTEN Colossians 2:15

Enemy whispers: You opened a door and now demons have legal right to you. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Colossians 2:15 - Jesus DISARMED principalities and powers, making a PUBLIC SPECTACLE of them. The only door that matters is the one Jesus opened when He said 'I am the door.' You didn't give demons authority—Jesus STRIPPED them of authority at the cross. You're sealed by the Holy Spirit, not marked by what you accidentally saw.

WHERE THIS LIE COMES FROM

Enemy exploiting guilt and fear from normal curiosity or accidental exposure to twist conviction into condemnation.

Why this feels true:

The shame from what she saw feels spiritually heavy, and she doesn't understand the difference between conviction leading to Christ and condemnation from the enemy. The darkness she feels is real fear, which the enemy amplifies to make her believe she's contaminated.

A man so demon-possessed he lived in tombs, cutting himself, breaking chains, terrorizing a region—beyond all human help. Jesus spoke ONE WORD and the man was instantly delivered, clothed, and in his right mind, sent home as a testimony.

The Father isn't waiting for you to cleanse yourself—He's already cleansed you by Jesus' blood and sealed you with His Spirit the moment you believed. He's running toward you saying, 'You're MINE, and nothing you've seen or done changes that—My Son's blood speaks louder than any accusation.'
