"If I had enough faith, I'd be healed by now."
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed, others have prayed, you've been anointed with oil—still sick. Must be YOUR faith that's defective. Everyone else in the testimony videos got healed; what's wrong with you?
"When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.'"
-- Matthew 8:16-17Source: Religion putting healing on human performance instead of Christ's finished work, making faith a WORK instead of a rest.
You see others healed and assume their faith was better, making healing about YOUR sufficiency instead of HIS. Takes the pressure off God and puts it all on you.
The servant who came to ARREST Jesus got his ear cut off—Jesus healed him INSTANTLY even though Malchus had ZERO faith and was actively opposing Him. Healing flows from Jesus' nature, not the recipient's worthiness.
I REFUSE the lie that healing is locked behind my faith performance score. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who were sick because HE BORE my sicknesses—Matthew 8:17 puts healing on HIS work, not mine. My faith is not the SOURCE; Jesus is the source and my faith just receives what He already provided. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the righteousness of God IN CHRIST—2 Corinthians 5:21—my right standing isn't earned, it's GIVEN. Healing isn't a prize for superior faith; it's a gift from a Father who runs toward broken sons. I am Abraham's seed, blessed by COVENANT not behavior, and if the BARAK covered Jacob the DECEIVER, it covers me in a BETTER covenant. Sickness, you have no legal right—I stand in FINISHED WORK, not faith measurement.
Your Father isn't standing at a distance waiting for your faith to hit some metric—He already RAN to you, robe ready, ring ready, healing ready. The paralytic's friends believed and the paralytic got healed; you're surrounded by the faith of Jesus Himself.
