"If God wanted to provide, He would have done it by now"
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed for years about finances with no change. If God was going to help, it would have happened already. My continued struggle proves He's either not listening or not willing. Hope is foolish at this point.
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
-- Habakkuk 2:3Enemy using delay to create doubt about God's character and willingness, twisting waiting into evidence of abandonment.
She's watched years pass with the same financial stress, prayers seemingly unanswered. Younger people get breakthroughs while she stays stuck. The duration of struggle feels like proof God isn't going to move.
God promised Abraham descendants at 75; Isaac wasn't born until Abraham was 100—a 25-YEAR WAIT that seemed to prove God wasn't going to do it. But at the APPOINTED TIME, the impossible happened and the promise came exactly as God said, delay didn't mean denial.
I REFUSE the lie that delay means denial. IT IS WRITTEN that though the promise tarries, it will SURELY come and NOT tarry. Abraham waited 25 YEARS but the promise came EXACTLY as God said. The Israelites waited 400 YEARS then got wealth in ONE NIGHT. My breakthrough has an APPOINTED TIME. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire—it protected and prospered God's people through GENERATIONS of waiting. IT IS WRITTEN that God's gifts and calling are IRREVOCABLE. My Father is running toward me RIGHT NOW with provision. The prodigal's restoration didn't depend on timing—it was INSTANT when he turned. I receive NOW.
Your Father hasn't been ignoring you—He's been preparing provision you can't see yet, just as He prepared the fattened calf BEFORE the prodigal left the pig pen. Delay in your experience doesn't mean delay in His heart. He's running toward you now with the breakthrough that's been appointed all along.
