"If Christianity were true, there wouldn't be so many denominations disagreeing"
How it sounds in your head: Catholics say one thing, Baptists another, my friend's non-denom church something else. If God is real, wouldn't He make truth clearer? How do I know MY church isn't the wrong one?
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."
-- Ephesians 4:4-6Enemy uses human diversity to discredit divine unity—but Jesus prayed for unity in diversity, not uniformity.
She's encountering theological diversity without understanding that secondary disagreements don't invalidate primary truths. The existence of different perspectives feels like evidence of falsehood rather than richness.
Paul publicly confronted Peter about theological practice—they disagreed sharply enough that Paul 'withstood him to his face.' Yet both are celebrated apostles, both wrote Scripture, and neither's disagreement invalidated the gospel.
I REFUSE the lie that denominational differences disprove God's existence. IT IS WRITTEN there is ONE body, ONE Spirit, ONE Lord, ONE faith—the essentials are unified. Even apostles Peter and Paul disagreed on practices yet both proclaimed the same gospel. IT IS WRITTEN that we see in part now but will understand fully later. I am the BARAK blessed daughter with access to the core truth: Jesus died, rose, and saves by grace. Denominational diversity is human wrestling with divine mystery, not evidence of divine absence.
The Father isn't confused by denominational differences—He celebrates diverse expressions of worship while holding firm to one gospel. He's inviting you to focus on the core, not get paralyzed by peripherals.
