"Science has disproven the Bible. Educated people don't believe these ancient stories anymore."
How it sounds in your head: My grandchildren study evolution and laugh at Genesis. Doctors explain everything my generation called miracles. Maybe I've been naive all these years, clinging to fairy tales while the world moved on to facts.
"Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ."
-- Colossians 2:8World system positions faith against reason, when the Creator of DNA and galaxies wrote both books—nature and Scripture.
Her generation watched science land on the moon and cure diseases, making ancient texts seem primitive. Younger voices she respects dismiss her beliefs, and her weakening mind fears she can't defend what she's always trusted.
Daniel was trained in ALL the Babylonian science, literature, and wisdom—the 'Harvard' of his day. God gave him knowledge in these fields, and he was found TEN TIMES BETTER than all the magicians and astrologers. Faith didn't make him ignorant; it made him superior.
I REFUSE the lie that faith and reason are enemies. IT IS WRITTEN that God warns against being cheated by philosophy and human tradition that excludes Christ. The scientists who discovered DNA, gravity, and the cosmos often believed in the Creator. IT IS WRITTEN that the heavens themselves declare God's glory—every telescope proves it. I am not naive; I know the Author of both revelation and creation. I stand under the BARAK blessing that made Daniel wiser than all Babylon's scholars. My faith doesn't contradict science; it explains its Source. No Ph.D. has disproven a God they cannot see but whose fingerprints cover everything.
The Father isn't threatened by telescopes or textbooks—He invented the stars they study and the minds they use. He's smiling at your trust in Him, the same trust that carried you through 80 years while 'scientific certainties' changed every decade.
