"I started my period and feel dirty, so God must see me as unclean now."
How it sounds in your head: Everything about periods feels gross and shameful. I have to hide tampons, and my mom talks about it in whispers. In the Old Testament, women were unclean during their period. Does God see me that way now? Am I less holy one week a month?
"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh... let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."

She's read or heard about Old Testament purity laws and her body's new function feels embarrassing. The physical discomfort combines with spiritual confusion about holiness.
She had been bleeding for 12 YEARS—perpetually 'unclean' under Old Testament law, yet touched Jesus in public and instead of Him becoming unclean, she became CLEAN. He called her 'daughter' and released her in peace—instant reversal of shame.
I REFUSE the lie that my God-designed body makes me unclean before Him. IT IS WRITTEN that I have BOLDNESS to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus—not by my body's condition but by HIS blood. The woman who bled for 12 years was called DAUGHTER and healed, not rejected. My period is not a curse; it's biology that God created for life-giving purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus—not 'no condemnation except one week a month' but NO condemnation EVER. I am washed, sanctified, set apart, holy because HE is holy and HE lives in me. My cycle doesn't cycle me in and out of God's presence. I am the temple of the Holy Spirit 365 days a year.
The Father doesn't recoil when you menstruate—He designed every hormone, every cycle, as part of His image in you. He's proud of the woman you're becoming, body and spirit, and sees you as perpetually clean because of Jesus' blood, not your body's rhythms.
