"I scare people away. My emotions, needs, opinions—I'm always too intense, never the easy girl."
How it sounds in your head: My ex said I was 'a lot.' My friends joke about my 'passionate rants.' Guys ghost when I share what I'm actually feeling. I've learned to shrink, stay quiet, apologize for caring too much.
"You number my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle; are they not in Your book?"
-- Psalm 56:8Enemy + religion: You've been taught godly femininity is quiet, accommodating, low-maintenance—that your personality is a problem to manage.
People have literally used the words 'too much'—too loud, too opinionated, too emotional, too needy. You've watched low-maintenance girls get the guy, the grace, the effortless acceptance you have to earn.
She crashed a party, wept loudly, let down her hair in public (scandalous), poured expensive perfume everywhere—pure emotional intensity. Religious people criticized her as 'too much.' Jesus defended her, forgave her instantly, said her extravagant love would be remembered forever.
I REFUSE the lie that my personality is a problem. IT IS WRITTEN that God collects my tears in a bottle—He doesn't tolerate my emotions, He TREASURES them. I was not made to shrink, tone down, or apologize for the way I love, feel, and show up. The Father didn't create me easy so people would have to work for nothing. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 2:10 I am His WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus—not mass-produced, custom-made. The BARAK blessing over me says I am blessed COMING IN and GOING OUT, not blessed only when I'm convenient.
The Father doesn't need you smaller. He made you FULL VOLUME on purpose. Your passion isn't a flaw in the design—it's the SIGNATURE of the Designer. He's not embarrassed by you. He's showing you off.
