"I sacrificed my health for ministry—God took but never gave back."

How it sounds in your head: You poured out everything, ignored your body's warnings, and kept serving. Now you're paying the price. God used you up and left you broken. Where's the reward for your sacrifice?

Joel 2:25

"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."

-- Joel 2:25
Enemy whispers: God used you up and gave nothing back. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Joel 2:25—'I will RESTORE to you the years that the locust has eaten.' Daughter, the Father isn't a user—He's a RESTORER. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 103:5 that He satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is RENEWED like the eagle's. Even now, at 90+, He's not done restoring. The prodigal didn't earn restoration—the Father RAN with it. Your Father is running toward you with healing, with peace, with the fullness you think you lost.
Quick Truth: LIE: God used me up and gave nothing back. TRUTH: He RESTORES the years the locust ate—your best is still ahead in His presence. (Joel 2:25)

Religion—taught that God demands sacrifice but forgets the ancient promise: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.'

Why this feels true:

Your body bears the physical scars of decades of service—stress-related illness, neglected health, exhaustion turned chronic. It feels like God took your best years and left you with the painful aftermath.

Luke 2:36-38
Anna the prophetess

Anna served in the temple night and day for decades as an elderly widow, fasting and praying, and God rewarded her sacrifice by letting her see the Messiah before she died. She didn't fade into obscurity—she became a witness to redemption at 84+ years old, her latter days MORE significant than her earlier ones.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that God used me up without restoration. IT IS WRITTEN that He will RESTORE the years the locust has eaten. I declare that my Father is not a taker—He's a GIVER, and it is written in Romans 8:32 that He who did not spare His own Son will freely give me ALL things. The BARAK blessing over my life means I am blessed in my body, blessed in my health, blessed in my latter years. I am NOT forgotten or cast aside—I am the daughter the Father is running toward with the robe of honor and the ring of authority. My youth is being RENEWED like the eagle's, and even now, God is satisfying me with good things.

But God actually:

The Father isn't standing over your broken body with a checklist of what you accomplished—He's weeping WITH you over what religion stole from you, and He's whispering, 'Daughter, I never wanted this. Let Me restore what was taken. Let Me give you rest you've never known.' The party isn't waiting until heaven—it starts the moment you let Him love you instead of use you.
