"I opened a door to demons by watching something bad or playing the wrong game."
How it sounds in your head: I watched that video I shouldn't have. Now I feel weird and dark. I must have let something in. Every time I walked past that house or played that game, I gave demons permission.
"We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him."
-- 1 John 5:18Source: Religious superstition that treats believers like unprotected victims instead of blood-bought sons with authority.
He feels guilty about what he watched and the timing of dark feelings seems connected. Fear-based teaching has convinced him he's vulnerable to demonic 'entry points.'
Jonah deliberately REBELLED against God's direct command, ran the opposite direction, and got thrown into the sea. Even in the belly of a fish, God's protection and purpose remained—God brought him out alive.
I REFUSE the lie that my mistakes opened doors to demons. IT IS WRITTEN that the wicked one does not touch those born of God. I am KEPT by God's power, not my perfect performance. IT IS WRITTEN that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than my failures. I am covered by the BARAK blessing that protected Abraham even when he lied. My authority in Christ is not based on my behavior but on HIS BLOOD. I am sealed, protected, and kept by the Father who never lets go.
The Father doesn't see you as vulnerable because you made a mistake—He sees you as covered by Jesus' blood that's stronger than any door you think you opened. He's running toward you with perfect protection.
