THE LIE Demonic Oppression

How it sounds in your head: Maybe it was that yoga class 30 years ago. Or when I let my kids read Harry Potter. Or that mission trip where we encountered witch doctors. Somewhere I opened a door and didn't know the right prayer to close it. Now specialists need to identify and seal it.

IT IS WRITTEN Ephesians 1:13

"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise."

Enemy whispers: 'You opened a door somewhere, you need experts to find it and close it, you're vulnerable until the right protocol is performed.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Ephesians 1:13 - the moment you believed, you were SEALED with the Holy Spirit. Not locked with a door that can be opened. SEALED. Permanently enclosed in God Himself. IT IS WRITTEN in John 10:28 - 'No one can snatch them out of My hand.' There are no open doors because you're inside the HAND OF GOD. No demon has the combination to that safe.

WHERE THIS LIE COMES FROM

The oppression feels connected to something specific but he can't identify it, creating anxiety that he's missing the key. Deliverance ministers claim to see things he can't, making him dependent on their expertise to find and close mystery doors.

The Father isn't waiting for you to identify every possible open door before He protects you - He wrapped you in the Holy Spirit like a sealed package the moment you believed. He sees you frantically searching for doors to close, and He's running toward you saying, 'You're already INSIDE Me - there are no doors, only My unbreakable embrace.'
