"My mental health issues are actually demonic, and medication is avoiding the real spiritual problem."
How it sounds in your head: The depression, the anxiety, maybe even these attention issues—what if they're spiritual oppression dressed up as mental health? What if taking medication is just masking demonic activity? Maybe I need deliverance, not pills.

-- Luke 10:34Source: Religious teaching that stigmatizes mental health treatment and spiritualizes biological/psychological struggles, creating false choice between faith and medicine.
His symptoms genuinely affect his spiritual life, and the 'it's all demonic' framework offers more dramatic explanation than brain chemistry, appealing to desire for spiritual solution.
Timothy had frequent stomach ailments affecting his ministry. Paul didn't say 'bind the demon of stomach issues' or 'you lack faith.' He said: 'Use a little wine for your stomach.' Medical solution for biological problem—from an APOSTLE to a PASTOR.
I REFUSE the lie that mental health treatment means spiritual weakness. IT IS WRITTEN that the Good Samaritan used medicine and Jesus commended him. God made my brain. Stewarding my mental health is wisdom, not faithlessness. IT IS WRITTEN that Paul told Timothy to use medicine. If apostles endorsed medical treatment, I can too. I reject false choice between faith and care. Jesus heals through multiple means. I am not weak for addressing brain chemistry. The BARAK blessing includes WHOLENESS—spirit, soul, and body.
The Father doesn't condemn you for taking medication any more than He condemns diabetics for taking insulin. He made your body, understands its chemistry, and meets you with healing through multiple means including medicine.
