"I need to live in constant fear and vigilance against demonic attack or I'll be vulnerable and oppressed."
How it sounds in your head: I have to constantly check myself—did I open a door? Did I say something that gave the enemy access? I can't let my guard down. I need to rebuke everything, plead the blood over everything, or I'm sitting duck for attack.
"He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
-- Psalm 121:3-4Source: Hyper-charismatic warfare teaching that makes believers feel responsible for constant defense instead of resting in the finished work of Christ.

Satan asked to sift Peter like wheat—a direct demonic attack. Jesus didn't tell Peter to rebuke it or stay vigilant. He said 'I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail.' Jesus interceded and Peter was kept, even through denial and failure.
I REFUSE the lie that my protection depends on constant vigilance. IT IS WRITTEN: Psalm 121:4—He who keeps me never slumbers or sleeps. I can rest because HE doesn't. IT IS WRITTEN: 1 Peter 5:7—I cast ALL my anxiety on Him because He cares for me. Jesus is my defender, not me. I am under the BARAK covenant blessing—protected even when I sleep, even when I'm unaware, just as Jacob was protected at Bethel when he didn't even know God was there. My protection is HIS JOB, not mine.
The Father isn't waiting for you to drop your guard so the enemy can pounce—He's standing watch while you sleep, fighting battles you don't even know about. You're not the guardian of your own soul; HE is, and He never takes a break.
