"I need to have perfect faith with no doubts or God won't heal me."

How it sounds in your head: They said at church that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains, so if I'm not healed, it must mean my faith isn't even THAT big. I keep having doubts. I keep crying at night. I keep Googling survival rates. If I had REAL faith, I wouldn't be scared. If I had ENOUGH faith, the symptoms would already be gone. I'm failing at believing, and that's why I'm still sick.

Mark 9:24

"Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, 'Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!'"

-- Mark 9:24
Enemy whispers: Your faith isn't strong enough or pure enough for God to heal you. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Mark 9:24 - A father came to Jesus, desperately needing his son healed, and said with TEARS, 'Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!' He admitted doubt IN THE SAME BREATH as belief. And Jesus healed the boy anyway. Your healing doesn't depend on the QUALITY of your faith; it depends on the QUALITY of your Savior.
Quick Truth: LIE: Perfect faith required. TRUTH: Father said 'I believe; help my unbelief' WITH TEARS. Jesus healed the son anyway. (Mark 9:24)

Source: Religious teaching that makes healing about the QUALITY of human faith instead of the FINISHED work of Christ, turning faith into a work you must perform perfectly.

Why this feels true:

She hears testimonies of people who 'stood in faith' and got healed, and she feels like a failure because she's still scared. She's trying to monitor her thoughts for any doubt, trying to 'speak only positive things,' exhausting herself trying to believe hard enough. The pressure to have perfect faith feels like another test she's failing.

John 20:24-29
Thomas

Thomas straight-up said, 'Unless I see the nail marks and put my hand in His side, I WILL NOT believe'—total doubt, demanding physical proof. Jesus didn't reject him, didn't shame him, didn't make him 'get his faith right.' Jesus showed up, gave him the proof, and called him blessed. Doubt didn't disqualify Thomas from encountering the Risen Christ.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my healing depends on the perfection of my faith, as if I have to perform belief flawlessly to earn what Jesus already purchased. IT IS WRITTEN that a father cried with TEARS, 'I believe; help my unbelief,' and Jesus healed anyway. My faith doesn't have to be perfect because my SAVIOR is perfect. IT IS WRITTEN in Hebrews 12:2 that Jesus is the author AND finisher of my faith—He started it, He'll complete it, and my healing is based on HIS finished work, not my finished faith. I am a daughter of the BARAK, blessed not because I believe perfectly but because I'm POSITIONED in Christ. Even when I doubt, I'm still Abraham's seed, still covered, still healed.

But God actually:

Right now, in the middle of her doubts, her 2am panic attacks, her whispered 'what ifs'—the Father isn't disappointed or withholding healing until she gets her faith together. He's running toward her WITH the healing, because her faith isn't the SOURCE of the miracle; HIS NATURE is.
