"Healing crusades work for others but people like me don't get picked."
How it sounds in your head: I've been to the meetings. I've stood in the prayer lines. I watched them pull people on stage for dramatic healings while I went home the same. Maybe I'm not demonstrative enough, don't have a testimony exciting enough to feature. God heals who He wants; apparently I'm not selected. The spotlight people get miracles; the back row goes home unchanged.
"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out."
-- John 6:37Enemy creates victim narrative around healing as random selection process to make covenant promises seem like lottery tickets and God's love conditional on being chosen.
You HAVE been in prayer lines without change. You've watched others jump and shout while you felt nothing. The evangelist called out specific people by word of knowledge; your name never came. It reinforces every childhood feeling of being picked last for teams, not special enough for attention.
Roadside beggar - nobody special, no platform, no dramatic testimony setup. Crowd told him to shut up; he yelled LOUDER. Jesus didn't need him on stage for a show - stopped mid-journey, called him over, 'what do you want?' One request, IMMEDIATELY received sight, no selection process or audition required.
I REFUSE the lie that healing is random selection or that God's favor requires being featured on a platform. IT IS WRITTEN that the one who comes to Jesus will BY NO MEANS be cast out - not 'might be accepted,' WILL BE, guaranteed, no audition required. Bartimaeus was a nobody beggar the crowd tried to silence, and Jesus STOPPED everything to heal him immediately. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed - past tense for EVERYONE in covenant, not selected few for stage demonstrations. The BARAK blessing didn't pick favorites among Abraham's seed - lying Abraham, deceiving Jacob, murderous sons, harlot-visiting Judah ALL stayed blessed by covenant, not performance. I am Abraham's seed by faith in Christ; healing is inheritance right, not lottery prize. The woman with the issue pressed through and TOOK her healing by touching Him - I don't wait to be picked; I come and TAKE what Jesus already purchased.
Your Father isn't running the healing lottery with your name perpetually not drawn - He's running toward EVERY beggar on EVERY roadside with the same fierce intention to heal that stopped Jesus mid-journey for one nobody the crowd dismissed. You're not invisible; you're invited, and the table's already set with your healing before you even arrive.
