"I must have hidden sin blocking my healing."
How it sounds in your head: Other people get healed but not you. There must be something you're not confessing, some unforgiveness you're holding, some secret sin stopping God's hand. You need to dig deeper and get it right before He'll move.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

He's heard teachings about 'blockages' and knows he's not perfect—there are things he's struggled with for years. When healing doesn't come immediately, searching for hidden sin feels like the responsible, humble thing to do.
She'd been ceremonially unclean for 12 years—by law, she made everyone she touched unclean, yet she broke religious law to touch Jesus. He didn't rebuke her sin; He said 'Daughter, your faith has made you well' and she was INSTANTLY healed.
I REFUSE the lie that hidden sin blocks the finished work of the cross. IT IS WRITTEN that God has forgiven me ALL trespasses and nailed every requirement to the cross—there is NO condemnation for me in Christ Jesus. Healing doesn't flow from my confession perfection; it flows from HIS covenant faithfulness. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 John 1:9 that He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse—He's not withholding, He's already released. The blood of Jesus doesn't cover 90% of my sin waiting for me to find the last 10%. The BARAK blessing covered Abraham the liar, Jacob the deceiver, and Judah the adulterer—it covers me completely. I receive healing as a son, not as a servant trying to earn approval.
The Father isn't playing hide-and-seek with your sin, waiting for you to dig up every hidden thing before He'll heal you—He already knows it all and He ran to you anyway. While you're searching your heart in fear, He's already placed healing in your account at the cross, saying 'It's already done, just receive.'
