"At my age, God's healing power doesn't work the same anymore."
How it sounds in your head: I'm 94. My body is worn out. Maybe healing was for younger people with more life ahead. God probably thinks I've lived long enough. Why would He waste a miracle on someone who's almost done anyway?
"They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."
-- Psalm 92:14Enemy convincing her that God's power diminishes with human age, that she's less valuable in her nineties.
Every friend who got this diagnosis at this age died. Society treats the elderly as disposable, less worthy of medical resources. She feels like she's taking up space.
Sarah was 90 years old, decades past menopause, womb medically dead. God visited her and she conceived Isaac—the child of promise—proving that His power laughs at biological impossibility and advanced age.
I REFUSE the lie that God's power has an age limit. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall still bear fruit in old age, fresh and flourishing. My natural age is irrelevant to my supernatural God who made Sarah conceive at 90 and kept Moses strong at 120. IT IS WRITTEN that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me and gives LIFE to my mortal body. I am a daughter of Abraham, blessed with the BARAK that never expires, never weakens, never says 'too old.' What God did for Caleb at 85, Anna at 84, Sarah at 90, He does for me NOW. My latter days are MORE glorious than my former. I am fresh, flourishing, and FULL of His resurrection life.
Your Father planned your latter years before you were born, and He doesn't do 'throwaway' chapters. He's leaning in close, whispering that Anna's best moment came at 84—yours is still unfolding.
