"Other people need healing more than I do—I shouldn't be selfish asking for myself."
How it sounds in your head: Children are dying of cancer. Young mothers with little ones need miracles more urgently. I've lived 73 years—that's more than many get. Asking God to heal me when others are suffering worse feels greedy. Maybe I should pray for them instead and accept whatever happens to me.
"Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"

She genuinely loves others and has spent decades putting everyone else first—husband, children, church, community. Her entire identity as a woman has been about nurturing others, making self-advocacy feel inherently selfish, especially regarding 'limited' divine resources.
Massive crowd pressing on Jesus, everyone with needs, yet this one 'insignificant' woman touched His garment for herself. Jesus STOPPED everything, called her out, affirmed her, called her DAUGHTER. He didn't rebuke her for being 'selfish' when others needed Him. He celebrated her receiving for HERSELF. She got her personal miracle in the middle of chaos.
I REFUSE the lie that asking for my own healing is selfish—IT IS WRITTEN that my Father gives GOOD GIFTS to HIS CHILDREN who ask. God's power is not rationed; there's no scarcity in heaven requiring me to forfeit blessing so others can have it. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 3:20 that He is able to do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY above all we ask or think—He can heal me AND everyone else simultaneously. I am Abraham's seed under BARAK covenant blessing that wasn't diminished by being shared—when Abraham was blessed, it overflowed to nations. My healing doesn't take from someone else's supply; it DEMONSTRATES God's nature and encourages others to receive. I am my Father's DAUGHTER, and He delights in my wholeness. I receive healing for MYSELF RIGHT NOW without guilt, without apology, because my Father has MORE THAN ENOUGH for everyone. I am HEALED, and so are they—abundance, not scarcity, is kingdom reality.
The Father didn't tell the bleeding woman, 'Wait your turn—others are more important.' He STOPPED FOR HER, called her DAUGHTER, and celebrated her receiving. He has individual attention for YOU, not leftover scraps after more 'worthy' cases. You're not competing for limited grace.
