"I need to accept this as God's will and stop fighting it."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe I'm being rebellious by wanting healing. People keep saying 'God's will' and 'His ways are higher.' Maybe surrendering means accepting the pain. Maybe fighting for healing is selfish or showing I don't trust God's plan.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious teaching that confuses surrender with agreement to suffering, old covenant resignation masquerading as faith.
Church culture has taught her that spiritual maturity means accepting whatever comes without complaint. She's heard 'Thy will be done' weaponized against expectation for breakthrough, making hope feel like rebellion.
Bent over for eighteen years, couldn't stand straight—religious leaders said leave her alone on Sabbath. Jesus called her forward, said 'Woman, you are LOOSED,' and IMMEDIATELY she straightened up. He called her condition 'Satan's bondage,' not 'God's will.'
I REFUSE the lie that pain is God's will requiring my acceptance. IT IS WRITTEN: God's will is that I 'be in health just as my soul prospers.' Jesus healed EVERYONE, revealing the Father's true will. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I have come that they might have LIFE abundantly.' Abundant life is God's will. Chronic pain is the thief's assignment. I surrender to LIFE, not death. I surrender to HEALING, not sickness. I am under the BARAK blessing where the Lord COMMANDS blessing on my body. I accept HIS will—which is wholeness.
Your Father isn't asking you to make peace with pain—He's inviting you into the abundant life Jesus died to provide. His will was so clearly healing that Jesus couldn't walk through a town without healing EVERYONE who came to Him.
