"I need special deliverance ministry because regular salvation isn't enough for me."
How it sounds in your head: Other people just pray and feel better, but I'm different—I'm more broken. I must need someone with special authority to cast things out of me. Maybe I'm too messed up for normal Christian life.
"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, 'It is finished!' And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit."
-- John 19:30Religious teaching that creates a two-tier Christianity where some need 'extra' freedom beyond what Jesus already accomplished.
She sees other girls seeming fine while she struggles with dark thoughts or fears, making her believe she's uniquely damaged. The idea that she needs something 'more' feels like it explains why she doesn't feel instantly better.
She suffered 12 years, spent all her money on doctors who made her worse, was unclean and untouchable. She didn't go to a special deliverance service—she touched Jesus' garment and was IMMEDIATELY healed, no ritual required.
I REFUSE the lie that I need something beyond what Jesus finished on the cross. IT IS WRITTEN that when Jesus said 'It is finished,' He meant FINISHED—complete, lacking nothing. I am not too broken for normal Christianity because there IS no normal Christianity—there are only broken people made whole by Jesus. IT IS WRITTEN that I am complete in Him, and the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in me. I don't need special deliverance—I need to believe the deliverance Jesus already gave me. I am BLESSED with the BARAK, a covenant blessing that doesn't require extra spiritual hoops.
The Father sees you as COMPLETE the moment you believed, not deficient waiting for extra ministry. He's not saying 'You need more'—He's saying 'My Son is ENOUGH, and you already have Him, which means you have EVERYTHING.'
