"I must have unconfessed sin blocking my healing."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe there's something I haven't dealt with. Some secret sin I'm holding onto, some unforgiveness I haven't released, some area God is waiting for me to surrender. I've heard testimonies where someone got healed after they confessed that one thing or forgave that person. I've been searching my heart, trying to figure out what's blocking the breakthrough. There must be something I'm missing, some spiritual obstacle I haven't removed.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

He's heard teachings on 'removing hindrances to healing' and it sounds logical—sin separates from God, so maybe it blocks blessings. He's heard James 5:16 used to say 'confess your sins and THEN you'll be healed.' It gives him something to DO, some control over the situation. If there's a blockage, he can remove it; if there's a key, he can find it.
Four men lowered a paralyzed man through a roof to get him to Jesus (property damage, interrupting a sermon—not exactly holy behavior). Jesus's first words: 'Son, your sins are forgiven,' then immediately, 'Rise, take up your bed and walk.' The man received BOTH forgiveness and healing in ONE MOMENT without any confession process, any searching of heart, any removing of blockages. Jesus gave both freely, instantly, based on desperate faith alone.
I REFUSE the lie that hidden sin is blocking my healing. IT IS WRITTEN that God has forgiven me ALL trespasses and wiped out ALL requirements against me, nailing them to the cross. The blood of Jesus covers what I can't remember, what I can't find, what I can't even identify. Romans 8:1 declares there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus—not 'less condemnation' or 'condemnation when you mess up,' but NONE. My healing isn't locked behind a confession code I need to crack. By His stripes I AM healed—present tense, active reality, based on HIS BLOOD, not my confession perfection. IT IS WRITTEN that while we were still SINNERS, Christ died for us—He didn't wait for us to get it right. I receive healing NOW as a gift of grace, not a reward for spiritual forensics. Father, You're not holding healing hostage until I find the right sin; You're running toward me with complete forgiveness AND healing in Your hands.
Your Father isn't playing hide-and-seek with some hidden sin you need to find before He releases healing—He's running toward you RIGHT NOW, and His blood has ALREADY covered every sin, past, present, and future. Like the paralytic through the roof, you receive forgiveness AND healing in ONE PACKAGE, not because you earned either but because that's who He IS.
