"I keep attracting broken women. Something must be wrong with me if healthy women aren't interested."
How it sounds in your head: Every woman you meet has unresolved trauma, financial disasters, or emotional chaos. You try to help, try to fix, and it drains you. Meanwhile, the stable, put-together women don't give you a second glance. Maybe you're only attractive to projects. Maybe you're the problem—too boring, too broke, too old to interest someone who has their act together.
"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord."
-- Proverbs 18:22Enemy accusation designed to create shame about your identity and make you believe you're defective or only worthy of damaged relationships.
Your last three relationships all imploded because of her issues—addiction, debt, untreated mental illness. You're tired of being the rescuer. You see other men your age with wives who are partners, not projects, and wonder why that's not your story. Maybe you're subconsciously picking broken women because you're afraid a healthy one would reject you.
Boaz was an older, wealthy, respected man who could've had any woman, yet he was single. God didn't bring him a perfect Jewish girl from a good family—He brought him Ruth, a Moabite widow with NOTHING. But Ruth had CHARACTER, and God used that union to bring forth King David and ultimately JESUS. Boaz's wife was a GOOD thing wrapped in unlikely packaging, and the blessing exploded generationally.
I REFUSE the lie that I only attract broken women or that something is wrong with me. IT IS WRITTEN in Proverbs 18:22 that when I FIND a wife, I find a GOOD thing and obtain FAVOR from the Lord—not a project, not a disaster, but FAVOR. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 84:11 that no GOOD thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly, and that includes a GOOD wife. I am righteous through Christ's blood, not my track record, and I am Abraham's seed—the BARAK blessing attracts FAVOR, not chaos. The women from my past were NOT my assignment; they were DISTRACTIONS I've learned from. God is bringing a woman of CHARACTER, STABILITY, and FAITH, and she will be a PARTNER, not a patient. I declare divine PROTECTION from wrong relationships and divine ATTRACTION to the right one.
The Father isn't judging you for past relationship mistakes—He's PROUD of you for finally recognizing red flags and refusing to settle. He's not withholding a good woman as punishment; He's been PROTECTING you from wrong assignments while PREPARING the right one, and she's closer than you think because the Father runs toward you with GOOD gifts, not broken substitutes.
