"I don't have the energy or patience to train another man at this age."
How it sounds in your head: You're exhausted at the thought of teaching someone how you like your coffee, explaining your needs again, navigating another man's quirks. You trained one for decades and it didn't work. You don't have another training season in you.
"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
-- Isaiah 40:31Religion/World: Performance lie—as if relationship is about training and managing instead of grace and compatibility God provides.
You remember the exhaustion of explaining yourself over and over. The compromises. The emotional labor. You're finally at peace alone, and risking that for more work feels unbearable.
Isaac had never met Rebekah. No dating, no training period, no compatibility quiz. The servant brought her, and 'Isaac was comforted after his mother's death'—instant fit, zero training, total peace and love from day one because GOD orchestrated it.
I REFUSE the lie that I have to train or fix another man. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord renew their strength—God is not sending me a project. The Father orchestrated Isaac and Rebekah with zero training period—instant compatibility because HE prepared it. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 1:6 that He who began a good work will complete it. The BARAK blessing brings me into divine alignment with someone already prepared. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and the relationship the Father brings will ENERGIZE me, not drain me. He is RUNNING toward me with rest, not more labor.
The Father isn't handing you a fixer-upper. He's been working on someone's heart while working on yours, and when you meet, it'll feel like coming home—easy, natural, life-giving—because HE orchestrated it.
