"I destroyed my body—I'll never be healthy or whole again."
How it sounds in your head: I can feel the damage. My body paid the price and I'll deal with the consequences forever. I ruined the body God gave me.
"For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, because they called you an outcast saying: 'This is Zion; no one seeks her.'"
-- Jeremiah 30:17Condemnation—religion says 'you reap what you sow,' making consequences permanent instead of pointing to covenant healing.
Doctors list long-term health risks. She feels physically different—tired, achy, not like she used to be. Medical reports confirm organ stress or damage, and everyone says certain consequences are irreversible.
Sick to the point of DEATH—prophet told him 'Set your house in order, you WILL die.' Hezekiah prayed, and before the prophet left the palace, God sent him BACK with a message: 'I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; I will HEAL you. I will add FIFTEEN YEARS to your life.' INSTANT reversal of a DEATH sentence.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is ruined forever. IT IS WRITTEN that God will RESTORE health to me and HEAL me of my wounds. By His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished at the cross. The same God who added FIFTEEN YEARS to Hezekiah's life after a death sentence can restore MY body. IT IS WRITTEN that He will restore the years the locust has eaten. Medical reports do not have final say—HIS WORD DOES. The BARAK blessing includes HEALTH—blessed in body, blessed in strength. I am being RENEWED day by day.
The Father doesn't look at your body and see irreversible damage—He sees a daughter whose healing was PURCHASED at the cross. Hezekiah got a death sentence reversed and fifteen years added to his life. God isn't limited by medical reports; He's the God of RESTORATION, and your body is next on His list.
