"I carry a disease that I have to manage for life"
How it sounds in your head: They call it a brain disease. Chronic, lifelong, incurable. I didn't choose it, but now I'm stuck managing symptoms forever. Best I can hope for is management, never freedom.
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
-- Isaiah 53:5Source: Medical model that removes personal responsibility but also removes access to supernatural transformation through Christ.
Scientific language makes it sound authoritative and unchangeable. If it's a biological disease like diabetes, then he needs management, not miracles. The medical framing removes hope for complete freedom.
Twelve years of bleeding, saw every doctor, spent all her money on medical solutions, got worse not better, considered medically incurable. One touch of Jesus' garment and IMMEDIATELY the flow of blood dried up - Jesus said 'your faith has made you WELL' not 'we'll manage your symptoms together.'
I REFUSE the lie that I carry an incurable disease. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I AM HEALED - not managing, HEALED. Medical models don't override spiritual authority. I am not a diagnosis waiting to be managed - I am a SON with access to resurrection power. The BARAK blessing includes 'the Lord will take away from you all sickness' - that's COVENANT promise for me in Christ. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. What He bore, I don't carry. I don't have a 'brain disease' - I have the MIND OF CHRIST. I walk in divine health, supernatural freedom, and complete wholeness.
The Father didn't send Jesus to become your symptom management coach - He sent Him to be your HEALER. While the world offers you a diagnosis and a treatment plan, the Father offers you His SON and a FINISHED WORK. You're not broken beyond repair - you're already REPAIRED at the cross.
