"I can never live a full life because of what my body can't do"

How it sounds in your head: Full life means travel, adventure, spontaneity—all the things your disability complicates or prevents. You watch other women hike, dance, run after grandkids someday. Your life will always be smaller, more restricted, less vibrant because of your limitations.

John 10:10

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

-- John 10:10
Enemy whispers: Your life will always be less. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: John 10:10—Jesus came that you may have life MORE ABUNDANTLY. Not 'abundantly if you're able-bodied.' Not 'abundantly once you're healed.' ABUNDANTLY. Now. The thief wants to STEAL your sense of fullness by tying it to what you can do. Jesus offers abundance tied to WHO HE IS. IT IS WRITTEN: In Him was life, and that life is the light of men. Your abundant life isn't in your body's abilities; it's in your spirit's connection to the Source of all life. Full life is His presence, not your performance.
Quick Truth: LIE: I can't live fully. TRUTH: Jesus gives you life MORE ABUNDANTLY—John 10:10. Fullness is His presence, not your ability.

World system: Abundant life measured by physical experiences; fullness tied to capability rather than Christ's presence.

Why this feels true:

Every limitation reinforces the narrative—events you can't attend, activities you can't participate in, experiences that require modifications. The world's definition of 'full life' constantly excludes your reality.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10
Paul with his thorn

Had a 'thorn in the flesh'—asked three times for removal. God's response: 'My grace is SUFFICIENT for you, for My strength is made PERFECT in weakness.' Paul went on to write most of the New Testament, plant churches across the known world, live the most abundant, impactful life imaginable—thorn intact.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my disability limits my access to abundant life. IT IS WRITTEN: Jesus came that I may have life MORE ABUNDANTLY—and that promise has no physical prerequisites. My abundant life is not measured by what my body can do but by what His Spirit does IN me. I am connected to the VINE—fruit comes from abiding, not from ability. The BARAK blessing of Abraham flows through covenant, not capability. IT IS WRITTEN: His grace is SUFFICIENT, and His strength is made PERFECT in my weakness. I am living a FULL life right now—full of His presence, full of purpose, full of the only abundance that matters: CHRIST IN ME, the hope of glory.

But God actually:

The Father isn't withholding abundant life until your body is healed—He's pouring it INTO you NOW, disability and all. His abundance isn't in what you can do but in who He IS in you. You are living fully because you are living in HIM.
