"God won't bless me because I haven't tithed consistently in the past"
How it sounds in your head: I've missed years of tithing. Maybe if I had been faithful all along, I wouldn't be in this mess. How can I expect God to bless me now when I've failed so much before? The blessing must be for those who've been obedient from the start.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."

Her inconsistency is documented in her own memory and maybe church records. The guilt is real, and it feels logical that past failure forfeits future blessing—that's how the world works.
He had literally ZERO righteous track record, was dying for his crimes, couldn't tithe or serve or prove anything. One moment of faith, and Jesus said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—instant full access with no probation.
I REFUSE the lie that past inconsistency blocks present blessing. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the locust has eaten—my history does NOT determine my NOW in Christ. I am not under a performance evaluation; I am under GRACE, where mercies are NEW every morning. The BARAK blessing covered Abraham when he LIED TWICE and still left richer. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus. My past is covered by blood, my present is empowered by grace, my future is secured by covenant. Today's obedience releases tomorrow's harvest, PERIOD.
The Father isn't keeping a scorecard of your past failures—He's keeping a record of Jesus' perfect obedience that He's credited to your account. Every morning you wake up to a clean slate and an open invitation to participate in blessing, no past required, no probation demanded.
