"God made a mistake with my body and I'm paying for it."
How it sounds in your head: If God is good and all-powerful, why this? Why you? It feels like a cosmic error, like you got the defective model and everyone else got the upgrade. Maybe you're being punished for something, or maybe God just wasn't paying attention when you were formed.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14Enemy's accusation against God's character, making disability seem like divine mistake or punishment rather than part of fallen world redeemed by His presence.
The pain is real, the limitation is real, and it's hard to reconcile a loving God with a body that doesn't work the way you wish it did.
Blind from birth—disciples asked 'who sinned, this man or his parents?' Jesus said NEITHER—'that the works of God should be revealed in him.' Then Jesus healed him INSTANTLY. The disability wasn't punishment; it was setup for God's glory to be displayed.
I REFUSE the lie that God made a mistake with my body. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made—God doesn't do defective work. This body is not punishment or error; it's the canvas on which God displays His glory in unexpected ways. The BARAK blessing covers me COMPLETELY—not despite my body, but INCLUDING my body exactly as it is. IT IS WRITTEN that God chose the weak things to shame the strong, which means my limitation is STRATEGIC, not accidental. I am not a mistake. I am a MASTERPIECE, created with PURPOSE, loved with PASSION, and blessed with ABUNDANCE.
The Father isn't apologizing for how He made you—He's celebrating you as His beloved daughter, perfectly formed for the unique glory only YOU can reveal. He's not waiting to love you 'if only' you were different. He's loving you WILDLY right now, wheelchair and all, limitation and all, exactly as you are.
