"I can't serve God or make a difference anymore because I'm stuck in this broken, limited body."
How it sounds in your head: You used to serve—taught, led, built. Now you can barely get to church. How do you serve from a bed? From a wheelchair? From brain fog? You're sidelined, benched, finished.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Enemy lie equating service with physical activity, blinding you to the reality that intercession, blessing, and presence are POWERFUL ministry regardless of mobility.
Service felt like DOING—teaching classes, building projects, visiting the sick. Now you ARE the sick, and you can't DO what you used to, so it feels like you're done.
DEAD. Buried. Bones in a grave. A dead man's body was thrown into his tomb and touched Elisha's bones—and the man CAME BACK TO LIFE. Elisha's ministry didn't end with death; his BONES carried resurrection power.
I REFUSE the lie that this broken body disqualifies me from service. IT IS WRITTEN that God's strength is made PERFECT in weakness—my limitation is His opportunity. Paul wrote Scripture with a thorn; John saw Revelation in exile; Elisha's DEAD BONES raised the dead. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed to BE a blessing, the head and not the tail. My prayers shake Heaven, my words release life, my presence carries HIS PRESENCE. The BARAK flows through me whether I'm in a wheelchair or running a marathon. I am a minister of reconciliation, an ambassador of Christ, and my SERVICE is in who I CARRY, not what I can physically DO.
The Father doesn't need you to be mobile to be mighty. He's looking for AVAILABLE, not ABLE, and your prayers from that bed carry the same authority as Paul's from a prison cell—world-changing.
