"God is using my chronic fatigue to slow me down and teach me rest."
How it sounds in your head: I was always go-go-go—maybe I needed to be forced to stop. Maybe God couldn't get my attention any other way, so He allowed this exhaustion. It feels like a divine intervention to correct my pace.
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
-- Matthew 11:28Religion made God the author of exhaustion instead of the giver of rest, confusing consequences of a broken world with intentional divine curriculum.
You were burnt out before the crash, so the timing makes it feel like cause-and-effect: 'I pushed too hard; God pushed back.' Well-meaning friends say 'Your body is telling you something,' as if the message is from God.
Collapsed in suicidal exhaustion, wanted to die, depleted from prophetic warfare. God's response? An ANGEL brought food, let him sleep, brought MORE food, and supernatural strength followed—he walked forty days on that meal. God didn't lecture him on pacing; He FED him and RESTORED him immediately.
I REFUSE the lie that chronic fatigue is God's rest curriculum. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus GIVES rest to the weary; He doesn't author exhaustion to teach it. My Father invites me to come for restoration, not collapses me into depletion. IT IS WRITTEN that when Elijah was burnt out, God sent an angel with food and supernatural strength—immediate restoration, not extended weakness. I am under the BARAK blessing where the LORD renews my strength like the eagle's. I receive divine energy NOW, the same supernatural strength that carried Elijah forty days on one heaven-sent meal.
Your Father doesn't drain you to train you—He's the God who spreads a table in the wilderness and says 'Eat, the journey is too great for you.' His rest restores; it doesn't ravage.
