"God is let down that I never conquered my temper after all these years"
How it sounds in your head: I'm still getting angry. Still losing it with my wife, my kids, even grandkids sometimes. After walking with God for decades, I should have this under control. God must be so let down watching me repeat the same failures year after year.
"For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust."

Anger patterns persist despite decades of trying, and the enemy uses longevity to prove both personal failure and God's disappointment.
Moses lost his temper in anger, struck the rock instead of speaking to it, disobeyed God publicly. Cost him entry to Promised Land—yet God PERSONALLY buried him with honor and called him His servant.
I REFUSE the lie that God is let down by my ongoing struggle with anger. IT IS WRITTEN that He KNOWS my frame and REMEMBERS I am dust—He's not shocked by my humanity. My Father doesn't love me based on conquered temper; He loves me based on COVENANT. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 John 1:7 that the blood of Jesus cleanses me from ALL sin—present tense, continuous action. The BARAK blessing covered Moses THE ANGRY, Jacob THE DECEIVER, David THE MURDERER. God isn't let down. He's LIFTING me up. I am not defined by persistent struggles; I am defined by persistent GRACE. His love never wavers when mine does.
The Father doesn't sigh in disappointment when you lose your temper. He runs toward you with the robe of righteousness AGAIN, covering your outburst with His blood AGAIN, patient as only covenant love can be.
