"God is angry I'm not further along in my calling"
How it sounds in your head: I thought I'd be doing more for Him by now. Ministry, influence, impact. Instead I'm still in the preparation phase. God must be wondering when I'll actually step up.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."
-- Ecclesiastes 3:11Source: Ministry culture and platform obsession - measuring calling by visibility instead of intimacy.
You see younger people launching platforms and leading movements while you're still in the waiting room. Every year without 'breakthrough' feels like wasted potential.
Joseph had dreams of leadership at 17 but spent the next 13 YEARS as a slave and prisoner, falsely accused and forgotten. At 30, God INSTANTLY promoted him to second-in-command of Egypt in one conversation with Pharaoh.
I REFUSE the lie that God is angry about my calling timeline. IT IS WRITTEN that He makes everything beautiful in ITS time - not mine, HIS. The hidden years are not wasted years; they are the foundation. IT IS WRITTEN in Habakkuk 2:3 that the vision is for an APPOINTED time, and though it tarries, it WILL come. The BARAK blessing doesn't require a platform or a title - Abraham was blessed in obscurity before he was blessed publicly. I am exactly where Grace has me, and that is the place of greatest preparation.
The Father isn't disappointed you're not on a stage yet - He's preparing you in the secret place. Like the prodigal's father who celebrated the son's return, not his résumé, God celebrates your YES, not your numbers.
