She expected age to bring automatic victory and feels ashamed that maturity hasn't eliminated struggle. The enemy weaponizes her honesty about ongoing temptation as proof of failure.
Peter denied Jesus three times after three years of ministry, swearing he didn't know Him. Days later, Jesus didn't lecture him about consistency—He restored him with breakfast on the beach and gave him the keys to build the church.
I REFUSE the lie that God is frustrated with my ongoing struggles. IT IS WRITTEN to come boldly to the throne of grace in my time of need—not after victory, but IN my struggle. My righteousness is a GIFT, not a performance score that drops when I stumble. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. I am the righteousness of God, not because I've mastered every battle, but because He mastered death itself FOR me.
The Father doesn't measure your progress by how many struggles you've eliminated. He celebrates that you keep running TO Him in the struggle instead of hiding FROM Him in shame.
