"God is disappointed in me for not giving more or being more generous."
How it sounds in your head: I see people sowing big seeds and getting testimonies, and I feel guilty I can't do that. God probably wishes I was more faithful with giving—I'm letting Him down by being so tight with money.
"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

Every message about giving makes me feel guilty because I'm not where I 'should' be. Other people's generosity testimonies highlight my lack, and surely God sees the difference too.
Gave two tiny copper coins—literally the SMALLEST possible offering while rich people threw in large sums. Jesus called disciples over to highlight HER above everyone else—He valued her TRUST from poverty more than the wealthy's surplus, zero disappointment despite tiny amount.
I REFUSE the lie that God is disappointed in my giving. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO CONDEMNATION for me in Christ Jesus. God measures my HEART, not my amount—the widow's two coins moved Him more than the wealthy's excess. I give as I purpose in my heart, CHEERFULLY, not from guilt or comparison. IT IS WRITTEN God loves a cheerful giver, and I am His BELOVED SON regardless of my seed size. I'm under the BARAK covenant blessing by POSITION, not performance. My Father celebrates my TRUST, not my tax bracket. I am FREE from religious scorekeeping and rest in His pleasure over me.
Your Father isn't tallying your giving and frowning—He's celebrating that you're HOME and in relationship, delighting over you with SINGING. The prodigal's Father didn't audit what was wasted; He threw a PARTY for his return.
