How it sounds in your head: My body is betraying me during the worst possible time—when everyone's watching what I look like. Maybe God knows I was getting too confident or vain. Maybe this pain in my joints, this exhaustion, this condition the doctors can't figure out—maybe it's His way of keeping me dependent on Him instead of caring about boys or popularity.

Adults keep saying 'God won't waste this' and 'you'll be stronger after,' which sounds spiritual, plus her body IS changing in ways she can't control, making it easy to believe God orchestrated this suffering. The timing—right when she's most self-conscious—makes it feel like targeted correction for caring about appearance.
This woman was bent over for EIGHTEEN YEARS, unable to stand straight—Satan had bound her (verse 16 says so explicitly). Jesus saw her on the Sabbath, called her over without her asking, and IMMEDIATELY she was made straight and glorified God. He called it SATANIC BONDAGE, not Father's teaching tool.
I REFUSE the lie that my Father authored this illness as a classroom. IT IS WRITTEN that He went about healing ALL who were oppressed by the DEVIL, because God was WITH Him. My sickness is not His curriculum—it's the enemy's oppression, and Jesus already purchased my healing at the whipping post. I am Abraham's seed through Christ, and the BARAK blessing includes 'the Lord will take away from you all sickness' (Deuteronomy 7:15). IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—I receive that finished work RIGHT NOW. No waiting, no earning, no 'lesson completion' required. I stand in the same righteousness as Jesus Himself, and in HIS body there is no disease.
Your Father is NOT the doctor prescribing disease—He's the Healer running toward you with the cure already paid for. While you were still struggling with symptoms, still confused about why, still blaming yourself, He already sent His word and HEALED you (Psalm 107:20)—you're just receiving what He already released.
