"God gave children to people less deserving; why are we being punished?"
How it sounds in your head: You've lived right, served faithfully, tithed consistently—and watch addicts, abusers, and atheists have kids they don't even want. The injustice burns. If God is fair, why does He bless the unrighteous with what you're begging for?
"He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
-- Matthew 5:45Religious merit-thinking that assumes God distributes blessings based on behavior scorecard.
You see genuinely terrible parents with multiple children while you'd be an excellent father with none. The world feels upside-down, and God seems to reward the wrong people.
Job was blameless and upright, yet lost everything including his children. His 'friends' insisted he was being punished for hidden sin—they were WRONG. God restored DOUBLE everything Job lost, proving suffering is NOT punishment and God's blessing is NOT behavior-based.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm being punished while undeserving people are blessed. IT IS WRITTEN that God's sun rises on the evil and the good—blessing is NOT behavior-based but GRACE-based. I stand righteous in Christ's blood, NOT my performance. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed and the BARAK blessing is mine by COVENANT, not conduct. God does NOT withhold from me because others seem undeserving—His grace is UNLIMITED. I am NOT being punished; I am being PREPARED for a testimony that will silence every question about God's fairness.
The Father is grieving WITH you at the injustice you see, but He's whispering that His blessing on your life is NOT contingent on anyone else's behavior. He's running toward you with the child you've longed for, and when you hold that baby, you'll understand that His delays were NOT punishment—they were His preparation for a miracle so undeniable that even cynics will see His goodness.
