LIE: I'm punished for leaving a toxic job. TRUTH: God DELIVERS the righteous from ALL troubles—leaving was wisdom. Psalm 34:17
LIE: Can't stop or I'm quitting. TRUTH: Come to Me and I'll give you REST. My yoke is easy, My burden light. Rest is obedience. (Matt 11:28-30)
LIE: God is disappointed I want to quit. TRUTH: Jesus invites the weary to REST—His burden is light (Matt 11:28-30).
LIE: Quitting is abandoning God's call. TRUTH: He who began the work in you will complete it. (Phil 1:6)
LIE: God is punishing me for quitting. TRUTH: There is NOW no condemnation in Christ—hardship is warfare, not judgment. (Rom 8:1)
LIE: Quit = weak. TRUTH: God gives power to weak. Isaiah 40:29 — Strength in waiting, not pushing.
LIE: Quitting ministry proves failure. TRUTH: Obeying God's next isn't betraying His past—every calling requires leaving (Gal 1:10).
LIE: Rest is laziness. TRUTH: God gives His BELOVED sleep—striving is vain (Ps 127:2).
LIE: If I stop serving, I fail God. TRUTH: He builds His church; you just abide. (Ex 14:14)
LIE: Leaving ministry is disobeying God's call. TRUTH: Everything has a season (Ecc 3:1). Spirit STOPPED Paul from ministry, redirected him.
LIE: Asking for healing is weakness. TRUTH: The righteous cry out and God delivers; even Jesus prayed with vehement cries. (Ps 34:17)
LIE: Wanting to quit is failure. TRUTH: Elijah begged to die after victory; God fed him, not fired him (1 Kings 19:4).
LIE: Meds block God's power. TRUTH: Every good gift from God - including medicine! No competition. (James 1:17)
LIE: Quit meds = faith. TRUTH: Jesus said don't test God. Wisdom uses tools He provides. Paul's prayer went unanswered. (Matt 4:7)
LIE: Rest means falling behind. TRUTH: His Presence goes WITH you and GIVES rest - both together. Exodus 33:14
LIE: You're a family of quitters. TRUTH: He who BEGAN the work will COMPLETE it—He's the finisher. (Phil 1:6)
LIE: My family's failure cursed me to underachieve. TRUTH: I'm seated with Christ in heavenly places—ABOVE every limitation. (Eph 2:6)
LIE: I'll quit like my family. TRUTH: He who BEGAN the work in me will COMPLETE it—not me, HIM. Phil 1:6, Heb 12:2
LIE: Wanting quit = betrayal. TRUTH: God gives desires. Psalm 37:4 — He gives heart's desires.
