"You never knew God well enough—too late for intimacy now."
How it sounds in your head: You went to church but never really got close to God. You were busy, distracted, lukewarm. Now you're at the end and you don't really know Him. It's too late to develop that relationship.
"And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
-- Jeremiah 29:13Enemy lie that intimacy with God requires decades of spiritual discipline and that deathbed connection is impossible.
You see others with deep faith and feel like a spiritual stranger by comparison. Your lifetime feels like it was spiritually wasted and time has run out.
The thief on the cross had ZERO religious background, no Bible knowledge, no spiritual disciplines—he met Jesus for the first time while dying and was promised paradise THAT DAY. One moment of heart connection was enough.
I REFUSE the lie that I don't know God well enough or that it's too late for intimacy. IT IS WRITTEN that I will seek Him and FIND Him when I search with all my heart—not after years of searching, but NOW. The thief on the cross met Jesus while dying and got paradise that day. IT IS WRITTEN that He is not far from any of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being. I am in Christ and Christ is in me. Intimacy isn't earned through decades—it's GIVEN in one moment of heart surrender. I know Him NOW because He first knew me.
The Father isn't requiring a spiritual resume—He's inviting you into instant intimacy. He gave the dying thief paradise after one conversation; He's ready to flood you with His presence RIGHT NOW, no matter how little you've known Him before.
