"Your years of lukewarm Christianity mean you'll have nothing to show at judgment."
How it sounds in your head: You attended church but weren't on fire. You believed but didn't evangelize. You gave some but not sacrificially. You're terrified of standing before Jesus with a wasted life, hearing 'I never knew you,' watching your works burn up as wood, hay, stubble.
"There is therefore now NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."
-- Romans 8:1Source: Religion that measures salvation by intensity of service; fear-based preaching about judgment seat of Christ.
You compare yourself to missionaries, martyrs, mega-church builders. Your faith feels thin, your service minimal, your impact negligible. The 'wood, hay, stubble' passage haunts you. You picture arriving in heaven empty-handed.
He lived his entire life as a criminal. Zero church attendance. Zero ministry. Zero discipleship. In his LAST BREATH he believed, and Jesus promised him Paradise THAT DAY. No probation. No proving himself. Instant, full salvation.
I REFUSE the lie that my lukewarm years disqualify me. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation for me in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). I am not saved by intensity of service but by GRACE through FAITH (Ephesians 2:8-9). IT IS WRITTEN that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)—present tense, already positioned. The BARAK blessing isn't performance-based. I am Abraham's seed, righteous by FAITH, not works. God's approval of me is based on JESUS, not my track record.
The Father isn't grading your Christian resume. He's looking at His Son's finished work and declaring you RIGHTEOUS. The thief had one moment of faith and got Paradise. You've had decades of imperfect faith—more than enough for the Father who runs toward prodigals.
