"Without formal training or Bible school, I don't have the knowledge to take spiritual authority properly."
How it sounds in your head: You never went to seminary, never took a spiritual warfare class. You know a few verses but you're not a scholar. Real authority requires deep biblical knowledge, understanding of Greek and Hebrew, systematic theology. You're just a simple believer—leave the warfare to the trained professionals.
"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus."
-- Acts 4:13Source: religion's academic gatekeeping that made the Kingdom accessible only to the educated elite.
You listen to pastors with degrees explain complex doctrines and feel like a child. Surely commanding demons requires expertise you don't possess.
A woman with five failed marriages and living in adultery had one conversation with Jesus, then ran to her city and brought the whole town to Him. No training, no theology degree, just 'Come see a Man'—and many Samaritans believed because of her testimony instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that I need formal training to take spiritual authority. IT IS WRITTEN that Peter and John were uneducated and untrained, yet they shook nations because they'd been with Jesus. The Samaritan woman led an entire city to Christ with no training—just her testimony. IT IS WRITTEN that God chooses the foolish things to shame the wise. My authority doesn't come from knowledge—it comes from being a branch in the Vine. The BARAK blessing didn't require Abraham to understand it, just receive it. I have the Holy Spirit as my teacher, the Word as my weapon, and the blood of Jesus as my credential. That's more than enough.
The Father isn't checking your transcripts—He's checking your connection to the Vine. He used uneducated fishermen to write Scripture and turn empires upside down, and He's ready to use you exactly as you are, degrees or no degrees.
