"I don't have enough faith or Bible knowledge to take authority like real warriors do."
How it sounds in your head: I didn't go to seminary. I can't quote chapter and verse. My prayers are basic. Other men seem confident in spiritual things; I'm winging it. Real warriors know Greek and Hebrew—I barely keep up with the sermon.
"Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'"
-- Mark 9:23Religious system creating clergy/laity hierarchy, enemy intimidating believers with intellectualism.
Decades of watching pastors with degrees lead while you sat in pews. Spiritual authority looked like a credential you never earned. Men who rattle off Greek words seem more qualified. Your simple prayers feel elementary next to their eloquence.
Shamgar had NO formal training, NO army, NO sword—just an ox goad (a farming stick). He killed 600 Philistines with it and delivered Israel. God didn't wait for him to attend warrior school; ordinary tool + willing man = INSTANT national deliverance.
I REFUSE the lie that I need more knowledge before I have authority. IT IS WRITTEN: All things are possible to him who believes. My authority is not based on my education but on my POSITION in Christ. I am Abraham's seed—the BARAK blessing doesn't require a degree. IT IS WRITTEN: God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise. I don't need perfect doctrine; I need connection to Jesus. I am a branch in the VINE—fruit comes from ABIDING, not from accumulating information. I take authority over every spirit of fear and intimidation. My simple faith is ENOUGH because it's faith in an INFINITE God.
Your Father doesn't quiz you before hugging you. The prodigal didn't need to pass a theology exam before the Father ran. He didn't say, 'Let me see if you understand covenant first'—he CELEBRATED. You're loved for WHO you are, not WHAT you know. The ring fits your finger just fine.
