"Spiritual authority requires strength and energy I no longer have at this age."
How it sounds in your head: I can barely get out of bed. Spiritual warfare sounds exhausting. That's for men with energy. I'm conserving what little I have left just to breathe. I don't have strength for battles.
"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts."
-- Zechariah 4:6Enemy equating spiritual authority with physical energy - hiding that authority operates from REST, not effort.
Every activity exhausts him. Breathing is work. Talking tires him. Spiritual warfare sounds like MORE work he can't physically do. Energy is gone.
Three armies surrounded Jehoshaphat - impossible odds. God said: 'You will not need to FIGHT in this battle. Position yourselves, STAND STILL and SEE the salvation of the Lord.' They SANG worship and God destroyed every enemy. Zero physical effort required.
I REFUSE the lie that authority requires energy I don't have. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My SPIRIT.' My authority has never come from my muscles - it comes from His Spirit in me. IT IS WRITTEN that His power is perfected in my WEAKNESS. Right now, in this bed, exhausted and barely able to move, I carry the FULL authority of the resurrected Christ. I don't FIGHT from effort - I DECLARE from REST. The BARAK blessing operates by COVENANT, not by my energy level. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places whether I'm running or lying down. My weakest whisper of 'It is written' carries more power than all the enemy's roaring, because it's not MY strength - it's HIS.
The Father doesn't need your strength - He needs your POSITION. You're His son, seated with His Son, and that authority doesn't fluctuate with your energy levels. Every enemy you face sees HIS strength in you, not yours. Your weakness is the perfect stage for His power.
