"We've hurt each other so badly that love is gone and can never come back."
How it sounds in your head: I look at her and feel nothing but resentment and regret. She looks at me with contempt or worse—indifference. Whatever we had is buried under decades of wounds. You can't resurrect love from this graveyard. We'll die strangers who share a name.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
-- Jeremiah 32:27World: Teaching that love is a feeling dependent on conditions instead of a covenant empowered by God; making emotional death final instead of resurrection territory.
The absence of feeling is tangible evidence. Decades of accumulated hurt create real emotional numbness. At ninety, the idea that dead love can be resurrected feels like fantasy, especially when grief and anger feel permanent.
Lazarus was dead FOUR DAYS—body decomposing, hope extinct, mourning complete. Jesus spoke ONE WORD: 'Lazarus, come forth!' and instant resurrection. What was rotting in the tomb walked out alive at Jesus's command.
I REFUSE the lie that dead love is beyond resurrection. IT IS WRITTEN: Is there ANYTHING too hard for God? The answer is NO. The same power that raised Lazarus from four-day death is raising love in my marriage RIGHT NOW. IT IS WRITTEN that God's love is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit—not dependent on our feelings but flowing from HIS nature. I am a branch in the Vine, and love is FRUIT, not work. As I abide, love flows automatically. The BARAK blessing breaks every curse of contempt, indifference, and resentment. I declare resurrection of affection, SUDDEN renewal of tenderness, INSTANT restoration of covenant love—because NOTHING is too hard for my Father.
Your Father isn't asking you to manufacture feelings from a dead heart. He's speaking 'LIVE' over what feels buried and commanding resurrection love to flow—not because you worked it up, but because He's pouring it IN right now through His Spirit.
