"Wars and disasters prove the end is here so don't invest in education or long-term goals"
How it sounds in your head: Israel, Russia, China, earthquakes, pandemics - it's all lining up with Revelation. Why am I taking out student loans or planning a career when the tribulation could start next year? Feels stupid to invest in a world that's about to burn.
"He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap."
-- Ecclesiastes 11:4Enemy uses prophetic signs to paralyze present obedience, turning alertness into inaction.
The signs Jesus listed in Matthew 24 are literally happening - wars, earthquakes, pestilences. It genuinely seems like we're in the final countdown, making long-term planning feel naive.
Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem's walls while enemies surrounded them, threatening attack daily. He didn't stop building because of threats - his people built with one hand and held a weapon with the other, and completed the wall in 52 days.
I REFUSE the lie that wars and disasters mean I shouldn't invest in my future. IT IS WRITTEN that he who observes the wind will not sow - I will not let fear of the end paralyze present obedience. No one knows the day or hour, so I build faithfully until He comes. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in my basket and kneading bowl, in my coming in and going out. That's PRESENT TENSE blessing regardless of world conditions. I am Abraham's seed, blessed to be fruitful and multiply. I plant, I build, I invest, I create - and if Jesus comes tomorrow, He'll find me OCCUPYING, not hiding.
Your Father is running toward you with BLUEPRINTS, not escape plans. He's not panicking about world events - He's positioning you to be unmovable, unshakable, and full of fruit when everything around you is shaking.
