"God is pouring out judgment on the earth so suffering is just part of it."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe all this chaos—pandemics, economic crashes, natural disasters—is God's judgment on a wicked world. Maybe I'm just collateral damage. Maybe suffering is inevitable now because the world has gone too far.
"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
-- John 3:17Source: Religion teaching God as angry judge instead of loving Father, making Jesus' finished work insufficient.
Old Testament shows God judging nations with plagues and disasters. It feels like the same pattern—sin increases, judgment falls, and we're caught in it.
When God was about to rain judgment on Sodom, He didn't leave Lot in it—He sent angels to physically pull him out. God said 'I cannot do ANYTHING until you are safe.'
I REFUSE the lie that I'm under God's judgment or collateral damage in His wrath. IT IS WRITTEN: God did not send His Son to condemn the world but to SAVE it. Jesus took judgment at the cross—there is NO condemnation for me. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:1 that I am free from condemnation. Like Lot pulled from Sodom, I am PROTECTED, not punished. The BARAK blessing shields me from the curse. I walk in GRACE, not judgment.
The Father isn't raining down wrath on you—He poured it all on Jesus 2,000 years ago. He's running toward you with the robe of righteousness, not a gavel.
