"My dreams don't matter because this world is temporary anyway"
How it sounds in your head: Why does it matter if I become a doctor or an artist if it all burns anyway? Nothing I build here lasts. My dreams feel like vanity when heaven is forever and earth is temporary.
"And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it."
-- Revelation 21:24-26Source: Gnostic-flavored theology that despises the physical and elevates only the spiritual, calling God's creation disposable
She's been taught 'this world is not our home' and 'store up treasures in heaven, not earth.' It sounds spiritual to dismiss earthly dreams as distractions from eternal focus.
God FILLED Bezalel with His Spirit specifically to design beautiful things—gold, silver, bronze, wood, and stone artistry for the tabernacle. God's Spirit didn't just empower preaching; He empowered CRAFTSMANSHIP, DESIGN, and BEAUTY because those things matter to Him.
I REFUSE the lie that my dreams don't matter because earth is temporary. IT IS WRITTEN that what I build with His Spirit ENDURES and the glory of the nations gets brought into eternity. My creativity is not vanity—it's ETERNAL INVESTMENT. IT IS WRITTEN that God filled Bezalel with His Spirit to create BEAUTY, design, and craftsmanship. My art, my science, my inventions reflect His image. This world isn't trash—it's the CANVAS He gave me. The BARAK blessing includes creativity, innovation, and influence that outlasts my lifetime.
Your Father doesn't see your dreams as distractions from heaven—He sees them as PREVIEWS of it. Every beautiful thing you create, every problem you solve, every life you touch is a deposit into eternity that will be brought into the New Jerusalem with your name on it.
