"Those healing testimonies are exaggerated—people embellish what really happened for attention."

How it sounds in your head: You've heard the stage stories, watched the faith healers on TV, seen people 'healed' who looked the same walking out. Your cynicism feels like wisdom now. Better to be realistic than disappointed again.

John 9:25

"He answered and said, 'Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.'"

-- John 9:25
Enemy whispers: 'Those testimonies are exaggerated—you can't trust what people claim about healing.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: John 9:25—'One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.' The man born blind didn't need a theology degree or a explanation the Pharisees would accept. He had EVIDENCE in his own body. IT IS WRITTEN: Acts 4:16—'For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to ALL who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.' Even Jesus's ENEMIES couldn't deny the miracles. Your skepticism doesn't make the blind man still blind—it just keeps YOU from receiving.
Quick Truth: LIE: Healing testimonies exaggerated. TRUTH: 'I was blind, now I see'—transformed bodies don't lie. (John 9:25)

Trauma: Disappointment from false claims created skepticism that now blocks genuine encounters with God's power.

Why this feels true:

You've lived long enough to see ministries exposed, healers caught lying, and friends claim healing who still died. Your discernment has turned into disbelief, and dismissing testimonies feels safer than hoping.

John 9:1-7
Man born blind

This man was born blind—never saw his mother's face, never saw a sunrise, DECADES of darkness. Jesus put mud on his eyes, sent him to wash, and he came back SEEING. The religious leaders interrogated him, called Jesus a sinner, kicked him out of the synagogue—but none of that changed the fact that he COULD SEE.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that healing testimonies are exaggerated. IT IS WRITTEN: though I was blind, now I see—and no amount of religious skepticism can argue with a transformed body. I will not let disappointment from false claims rob me of REAL encounters with God's power. I am a branch attached to the healing Vine—I don't produce miracles through hype, I receive them through ABIDING. IT IS WRITTEN: by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, already done, my inheritance through the BARAK blessing that's mine by covenant, not by convincing skeptics. The same God who healed the man born blind sees MY body and calls forth the same creative power. My testimony will silence critics just like his did.

But God actually:

The Father doesn't need you to defend His miracles or prove them to skeptics. He's running toward you with healing in His wings, the same Father who let His Son be interrogated by cynics while the evidence of a seeing man stood right there. He's already celebrated your healing in heaven—He's just waiting for you to receive what He's already given.
