"Those healing testimonies are exaggerated—people embellish what really happened."
How it sounds in your head: You've been taught to be skeptical, to question everything, to demand multiple witnesses. When you hear someone got healed, your first thought is 'probably psychosomatic' or 'they're remembering it better than it was.' Your scientific mind says miracles need peer-reviewed documentation.
"He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see."
-- John 9:25Source: World system training skepticism as wisdom, making doubt sound intelligent.
You've seen charlatans on TV faking healings for money, creating legitimate distrust. Your engineering or business background taught you to verify claims with data, and miracles resist laboratory conditions.
A blind man was brought to Jesus who spit on his eyes and touched him. The man said 'I see men like trees walking'—partial healing—so Jesus touched him AGAIN and instantly his sight was perfectly restored.
I REFUSE the lie that healing testimonies are exaggerated. IT IS WRITTEN that the man born blind said 'whereas I was blind, now I see'—undeniable evidence requires no explanation. I will not let skepticism rob me of faith or others of encouragement. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 John 5:9 that if we receive human testimony, God's testimony is greater—I receive the testimony of Scripture AND of believers. I am positioned in Christ where the blessing of Abraham flows—the same covenant that made Isaac wealthy after he lied makes me whole when Jesus paid my healing price. No skepticism cancels Calvary's finished work.
Your Father doesn't need you to explain or defend His miracles—He just keeps healing people while theologians debate. He's touching bodies right now, including yours, not because you understand the mechanism but because He's a good Father who delights in His children's wholeness.
