"Miraculous healing requires special gifted people; ordinary believers can't heal."
How it sounds in your head: Healing is for pastors, missionaries, people with the gift. I'm just a regular person. I don't have that anointing. If I tried to pray for healing, nothing would happen and I'd look foolish. I need someone more spiritual to do it.
"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

She's seen celebrity healers on stages, been taught about spiritual gifts being selective, and feels unqualified compared to people with Bible college degrees. The idea that she could heal someone feels arrogant.
Just a regular disciple in Damascus, not an apostle or leader, afraid to even approach Paul. God sent him anyway. He laid hands on Saul, and IMMEDIATELY scales fell from Saul's eyes and he could see again—healed by an ordinary, scared believer.
I REFUSE the lie that healing requires special gifted people. IT IS WRITTEN: Mark 16:17-18 - These signs follow those who BELIEVE, and I believe. I lay hands on the sick and they recover, not because I'm special, but because Jesus is. I am Abraham's seed, carrying the BARAK blessing everywhere I go. IT IS WRITTEN: John 14:12 - I do the works Jesus did and even greater, because He said so. My ordinariness is the perfect platform for His extraordinary power. I am a miracle-working believer.
Your Father didn't restrict healing to the spiritual elite—He gave it to BELIEVERS, which includes you in your dorm room, your first apartment, your uncertain season. While you've been waiting for someone more qualified, He's been waiting to flow through your ordinary, available hands.
