"This sickness glorifies God more than my healing would"
How it sounds in your head: People see your faith in the midst of suffering. Your endurance is a testimony. Maybe your healing would make you less effective as a witness than your patient suffering does.
"Jesus answered, 'Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.'"
-- John 9:3Religious elevation of suffering as superior witness, contradicting Jesus' entire healing ministry.
You've received comments from people saying your attitude during this trial has impacted them, and it feels spiritually profound to imagine suffering as a higher calling than healing.
Ten lepers called out for mercy from a distance. Jesus told them to go show themselves to the priests, and as they went, ALL ten were IMMEDIATELY cleansed—instant healing for a group with an incurable, isolating disease, no process required.
I REFUSE the lie that sickness glorifies God more than healing. IT IS WRITTEN that the works of God are revealed in HEALING, not in disease. Jesus healed ALL who came and told them to glorify God AFTER healing. Enduring sickness is not a higher calling than walking in resurrection power. IT IS WRITTEN that He bore my sicknesses at the cross. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, healed and whole. The BARAK blessing brings health that demonstrates His goodness. I receive healing NOW because testimony comes from BREAKTHROUGH, not from bondage. My healing glorifies Him by showing He's GOOD.
Your Father doesn't need you sick to get glory—He gets glory when His children walk in the fullness of what Jesus purchased. He's eager to heal you instantly so your testimony shifts from enduring disease to destroying it through His power.
