"This pain is a reminder to slow down and rest—maybe that's God's message."
How it sounds in your head: You've been pushing too hard for too long—work, kids, everyone needing you. Your body is forcing you to rest. Maybe God allowed this pain to make you stop and prioritize self-care. Listen to what your body is telling you. This is a sign you need boundaries and rest.
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

She HAS been exhausted and overwhelmed, and pain physically prevents overextension. It seems wise to interpret pain as her body's wisdom, and spiritual to see God's hand in forcing rest she wouldn't take otherwise.
He was exhausted, burned out, suicidal—collapsed under a tree wanting to die. God didn't give him pain to force rest; He sent an ANGEL with food and let him sleep. Then God gave him forty days of supernatural strength from one meal. God's rest restores; it doesn't injure first.
I REFUSE the lie that God uses pain to teach me rest. IT IS WRITTEN: Jesus gives rest to the weary—not pain, REST. Pain is the thief's work; rest is the Father's gift. I don't need injury to learn boundaries; I have Holy Spirit's guidance. The BARAK blessing includes refreshing and strength. IT IS WRITTEN: He restores my soul and renews my strength like the eagle's. I receive rest WITHOUT pain and healing WITH energy because both are covenant promises. Pain is not my teacher; the Word is.
The Father isn't using pain as a forced time-out because you won't rest—He's inviting you to His rest while simultaneously healing your pain. Like Elijah got food, sleep, and supernatural strength (not punishment for burnout), you get rest AND healing because God doesn't injure to instruct; He restores because He's good.
